cupcake brownies.

"If she still uses an Easy Bake Oven, she's too young for you bro!"

Came across the above quote, or I'd rather say, statement, on the net.. and I thought that it's time for me to start making friends with the utensils in the kitchen. I'm 18 and it's very sad to say that I can't even cook any proper meal. I know it's a shame.. I've always told my mum that I wanna learn cooking but lol, talk only but no action. :P

Anyways, today's post will be about cupcake brownies! Suddenly got the urge to bake. And since the girlfriends are planning to go to Sentosa tomorrow (yay!), I thought it would be nice to prepare them something. And since I've said to MusDz too that I wanna bake this week, I shall fulfill what I said. Haha

I know COOKING is more important than BAKING. But, oh wellz, as a start, not bad right?
Start small first. No need to be too ambitious lor. Heheh.

Here, I would also like to share the recipe for these cupcake brownies. You may choose to serve as cupcakes or normal pieces of cakes (bake on tray).

Recipe will be put at the end of this post. :)
Above is how I decided to design my cupcakes.
Usually, I'll put some chocolate chips, but since I don't have any, and I happened to have a packet of colourful mini marshmallows... apelagi kan. Just put lorrr. I thought it would be unique lar.
But let's wait for the outcome...
Peeped into the oven after 15 mins and they looked bloated. O.O
After 30 mins..............

Yeap!
They're really bloated!
Hehe fatty fatty cupcakes! Mmmmdap.
But, the marshmallows look weird like that.

Now, these are the freshly baked cuppies from the oven!

The marshmallows melted already.. And as I've said, it looks weird.
Should have stuffed them inside lah instead of leaving them popping out. Haiz.
^ After the chocolate cream was piped on the cupcakes.
Usually, I'll just sweep it on top, but decided to do some 'maze' this time round.
 ^ Up close.
Somehow, it looks more like muffin.
Maybe I should call it cupcake brownies muffin lor. (x
Haha above is my failed attempt in drawing a heart shape using the green instant icing. But the motive of this picture is to show you guys that these cupcakes were baked by me with LOVE (aiseyman).
Hence, regardless of the outcome and taste, do keep in mind that those were baked with love! Hohoho okay whatever lah datin syazzy wazzy.

Recipe:
Mixture A
90g Cocoa powder
115g butter
-> Double boil, then put aside first

Mixture B -
340g Castor sugar
4 eggs
115g tepung gandum
A pinch of salt & vanilla essence
-> Mix them all.

Mix both mixtures, pour into tray/cups.
Add some choc chips or nuts etc~
*** Bake in the oven for 30 mins, 180 degree celsius.

Alright, that's all. Have a good try! :)
